A couple of weeks ago, the Holiroots team was invited to attend the Start-up BW Summit 2024. At the event, hosted in our home state of Baden-Württemberg, start-ups and other innovators from all over the world could get to know each other and exchange ideas. We also got to talk with the many consumers and investors that showed up, and they shared some important insights…
A lot of visitors of the fair appreciated that we use rescued veggies and told us they want to support start-ups that have a social commitment, without compensating on taste or price. Luckily, we fit that category perfectly! Besides the cause, what they liked most about our crackers is that they’re visibly lower in calories and have nutriscore A. Healthy and tasty, it’s a win-win! 😊
This consumer feedback did not go unnoticed by the investors walking the grounds. They see that there is a market for food with impact🌍. We also had the exclusive opportunity to pitch in front of a large audience and it felt extra special to get to do this in Stuttgart 🏙. All of the positive feedback gave us the push we needed to nail this pitch in only 2 minutes!
